Children's Dance Camps
For ages 3-6
June 23-26, July 7-10 & July 14-17
9am-12pm
$140 per week

This age group will have a morning full of activity! For dancers age 3-6, students participate in daily dance classes in techniques such as ballet, tap, and creative movement. In addition to dance, Arts and crafts will be performed such as THE NUTCRACKER, FIREBIRD, SLEEPING BEAUTY, SWAN LAKE, & ANGELINA THE BALLERINA. Fees include supplies and snacks

Elementary Dance Camps
for ages 7-9
June 23-26, July 7– 10, & July 14-17
9am-1pm
$150 per week

This week will be packed with a variety of dance (ballet, tap, and jazz), music fun. Arts and crafts will include rubber stamping, painting, stenciling, jewelry making, pottery, Themes include: CARNICAL OF THE ANIMALS & FAVORITE STORIES AT THE BALLET. Campers should bring a bag lunch and drink will be provided. Fees include craft supplies. Families with multiple students will receive 10% off camps as well as students who enroll in more than one week.

Summer Intensive Camps
Levels II/III & LEVEL I & COMPANY
June 23-26 & July 7-10 & July 14-17

2:30 - 5:30 $165 per week

These camps are new this summer for ages 9-18. Classes will be held simultaneously for each level. Students will receive a minimum of 3 classes a day which may include ballet technique, Pointe, modern, character, body conditioning, repertoire, lyrical, hip hop and other dance related subjects. Students in these levels must take at least 20 hours of dance at the Ballet & Performing Arts Centre in order to stay at their level or move up. Classes will be taught by Natalie Mizell, Donna Griffith and Special Guest Artists. These camps will help you get better prepared for Nutcracker and improve your Pointe or Pre-Pointe work. Pre-Pointe students are encouraged to enroll for camps. Students enrolled in more than one week of camp will receive 15% off.


SUMMER DANCE CLASSES 2008

LEVEL III & IV
Weeks July 7-10 & July 14-17......
10:15 - 12:15 Ages 6-9

Level IV classes will concentrate on improving flexibility, balance, and simple routines. Tap is also offered in this level. This class is $90 per weekly session.

Preschool
weeks July 7-10, July 14-17......
10:15 - 11:00 or 6:00 - 6:45 Ages 3-5

Preschool classes will focus on pre-ballet, tap and creative movement. The focus is to improve motor skills and basic ballet fundamentals. This class is $36 per weekly session.
